Huge support for first weekend

Wow - what a weekend! Firstly, thank you everybody so much for your fantastic support - it really means so much to us all to know that you are behind us as we move forward out of lockdown! Thank you!

Carrie and Sam did a truly fantastic job reopening the boathouse on Saturday managing to keep everyone feeling safe, happy and well fed.

The new queuing and one way system seemed to work really well, with everyone maintaining a safe distance from each other. A few minor tweaks are being made, but all in all the duo seem happy with how the boathouse operates with all the Government restrictions in place.

It was wonderful to see so many regulars back again , and we know that they were delighted to see Sam and Carrie looking so fit and well too.

Despite the winds everyone made the most of sitting outside on the new benches and it was lovely to see so many children and dogs out about too. Overall a great first weekend . Let’s hope that the fine weather returns and that the wind drops too.

Please remember - for the time being the boathouse is closed on a Monday and a Tuesday.
