A decade already!

We have always known that the years go by pretty darned fast, but decades……. wow that is a new one, where on earth has this last one gone?

So today like every other 1st April we celebrate White Mills birthday, but what is different about this year is that, as I have already said, it has been ten whole years since we opened for business, and what a ride it has been, much of which has been documented through the many blogs over the years.

To celebrate our 10th birthday we had cake and fizzy available to boaters and visitors all day in the office and it was really wonderful to catch up with so many boaters old and new and reminisce about the good old days, and of course look ahead to a bright and exciting future. John was busy farming so sadly he missed out, but Joe who is currently on paternity leave, popped into help celebrate. On Easter Sunday we will be doing it all over again for those boaters and visitors who were unable to make it today.

As a family we would like to take this opportunity of thanking everyone who has come into our lives over the past ten years, from boaters and visitors to our wonderful team members and colleagues - thank you so very much, and here is to 2036!
