Fancy staying in a shepherd’s hut?
Sssshh! You’ve found our little secret …….. Mary’s
We are so thrilled to be able to offer you the opportunity to stay close to White Mills Marina in our truly beautiful, pretty and cosy little shepherd’s hut Mary’s. It’s just a short hop away from the marina, at Pastures Farm. There are numerous walks to enjoy and the village of Earls Barton is just a twenty minute stroll away.
Mary’s (named after Debbie’s mother) was bought from the Derbyshire Dales, and has since enjoyed a complete overhaul and, although we say it ourselves, she now looks totally adorable.
The delicious comfy bed is incredibly inviting and the relaxed colours add to the stress-free environment that this sweet little hut promotes. There is a small bedside table at which you can enjoy breakfast, along with a fridge, wash hand basin, two comfy chairs and the dearest of little wood burners. There are plenty of hooks to hang up all the important things you need for a weekend in the country. What’s more, at Pastures Farm, Mary's has 24/7 access to spotlessly clean showers and toilets.

You will be able to enjoy the gardens and all the surrounding countryside including The Shed (aka Skinners Inn). If you would like any additional food preparing to enjoy either in Mary's or in Skinner's Inn, then we will always be able to rustle something up. Anything is possible at Pastures Farm and we will always bend over backwards to make sure your stay in this very special shepherds hut is a memorable one. We love it and are sure that you will too.
Alternatively, you might like to tuck into breakfast or lunch in the nearby boathouse, which overlooks the gorgeous marina, bustling with boats coming and going. You can enjoy hot and cold drinks too, six days a week (closed on Tuesdays).
Mary’s is available for a minimum of two nights. Guests wishing to have any special arrangements or ‘surprises’ organised, just have to ask - nothing gives us more pleasure than to see you enjoying simple pleasures.
