More Macmillan success

What a difference twelve months makes! This time last year thanks to the biblical rains Northamptonshire experienced we were forced to postpone our much loved Macmillan Coffee morning until the beginning of November. Thankfully this year, it has been a totally different ball game altogether, we have been basking in a glorious Indian Summer, blue skies, warm sun and stunning autumn colours.

Everywhere is looking gorgeous.

And talking of gorgeous on Friday we hosted this year’s Macmillan coffee morning, and thanks to the kindness of cake makers, stall holders as well as the generosity of our visitors, plus a blooming wonderful team of volunteers we managed to successfully raise a totally awesome £1337.00. Woohoo!

A huge thank you to our supportive suppliers who kindly donated prizes as well as to Julie our raffle guru who once again did an almighty job selling raffle tickets. You’re all amazing.

Next year will be our tenth Macmillan coffee morning- so watch this space we will be back.
